Prince Ali Vâsıb (known in Turkish as ?Ali Vâsıb Efendi' ? or, using his Turkish surname, as ?Ali Vâsıb Osmanoğlu') was born in the Çırağan Palace, on the shores of the Bosphorus in İstanbul, in 1903.
